Social Presence in Virtual Learning
For my topic I decided to research social presence in virtual learning specifically in university students or adult learners. I want to explore how students sense of connection with their instructor and classmates relates to their participation and learning in an online course. As someone who finished their college in a hybrid way I can understand how students may feel unmotivated and unwilling to continue their education after not understanding technology. I want to research and understand how the human side of virtual education can help students better their education and have a more positive experience in college. What is social presence?
